When announced the Retina display packing, FaceTime rocking iPod touch 2010 model, we knew this thing was gonna be a hit. We’re currently hard at work on our iPod touch review, but in the meantime we’ve snapped a bunch of pics of what’s gotta be the best looking iPod touch to date. Seriously, this thing is thin to the point of ridiculousness. Obviously with the Retina display, the screen looks sharp, and you also gain camera on both the front and back of the unit. Take a gander at the gallery.

You can pick up an iPod touch from Apple.

It’s always been kind of a chose to “type” in the , but with the release of the and its discovery and search features—alongside its ridiculously slow interface—typing is downright awful. The TiVo Slide remote aims to change all that, giving you pretty much the same TiVo remote you’ve grown used to over the years (just more compact) with an integrated QWERTY slider keyboard. It all works over Bluetooth, and in the end, should make that hunt-and-peck typing a thing of the past. We will be bringing you a TiVo Slide review shortly, but in the meantime, enjoy these unboxing shots!

You can pick up the TiVo Slide remote from the TiVo Store for $89.

The folks over at OWC just got one of the new 2.66GHz 12-core Mac Pro units in their office, and they slapped together and quick and dirty unboxing gallery showing off the goods. Of course, with Apple sticking by their longstanding top-of-the-line desktop design, nothing on the outside really looks all the much different. Still, though, it’s a sign that these beasts are finally shipping, and that’s gotta count for something.

You can pick up the new Mac Pro now from Apple.

A few days ago, Apple introduced their Magic Trackpad to the world. Cheap handheld camcorders seem to be all the rage these days, so it’s rare that we focus on them unless they have some sort of standout feature set. Heck, the records 720p H.264 video itself. Today, we are focusing on the DXG USA A80V handheld camcorder because we think it has a few features that set it apart from the pack.

The A80V is a 1080p camcorder that records at 30 fps, 1080i at 60fps, and 720p at 60fps. All videos are recorded in H.264 MOV file format, which is perfect for pulling directly off the camcorder and viewing/editing immediately. A lot of similar cameras require a transcode before you can view or play with the files. It’s got a 10 megapixel CMOS sensor, 5x optical zoom, 10x digital zoom, 3-inch touch display, and even an HDMI output (with HDMI cable included.)

You can get the DXG USA A80V for $239 on Amazon.

After all the and phones, Verizon launched the Motorola Devour, and Android messaging phone. We picked up a Devour to give you a look at the device, which certainly isn’t aimed at the high-end smartphone crowd. However, since the Sidekick has pretty much fell off the face of the earth, we thought the Devour would be attractive to that younger crowd that’s into text messaging but doesn’t need an overly expensive data plan. Check out the Motorola Devour in this episode.
